Sears’ Top Strategist to Leave Post
Hoffman Estates, Ill. Sears Holdings Corp. said Monday that top strategy executive Corwin Yulinsky has resigned from his position, effective Nov. 14.
Yulinsky joined the retailer in October 2005. He was brought on board to oversee the merging of Sears and Kmart.
His departure comes on the heels of similar announcements made by executives this summer. These include the resignations of Maureen McGuire, Sears’ chief marketing officer, Mark Good, the company’s head of home services business, and David McCreight, Land’s End’s chief executive.
The company also continues to seek a permanent replacement for former chief executive Aylwin Lewis, who was ousted from his position this summer. W. Bruce Johnson, a former Kmart executive, took on the role of interim CEO and president in February.
