Sears to open on Thanksgiving Day

New York City For the first time in its 85-year history, Sears stores will be open on Thanksgiving, CNBC reported. The stores will only be open in the morning, from 7 a.m. to noon.

Sears is owned by Sears Holdings, whose Kmart division has opened its stores on Thanksgiving for nearly 20 years.
