Sears Holdings names store ops head

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears Holdings has named Kevin Holt, as evp of store operations, according to reports. He will oversee the company's 3,400 U.S. stores.

Holt previously was with Meijer for 13 years, where he served as evp of retail operations. He joined Sears in September as senior vp and chief effectiveness officer.

Sears Holdings reported a fourth quarter comps decline of 4.5%. Net income for the quarter was $426 million, or $3.17 per diluted share,  compared with net income of $811 million, or $5.27 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter ended Feb. 3, 2007.
