Sears Holdings names new execs

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. Sears Holdings announced that Bill Jackson will join the company as SVP and president of automotive. He will be responsible for the oversight, leadership and strategic growth of the company's automotive business, both in-store and online.

Jackson most recently served as leader of the global automotive, transportation and industrials practice for Booz & Co. During his 20-plus years at the firm, he held numerous senior leadership roles and helped lead major turnarounds and mergers with industrials, automotive and aftermarket suppliers and consumer product companies.

Earlier in the month, Hugo Malan joined the company as SVP and president of fitness and sporting goods. Malan most recently served as managing director of Barclays Capital.
