Sears ecommerce chief resigns

Hoffman Estates, Ill. – Imran Joona, executive VP of online, marketing, pricing and financial services at Sears Holding Corp., is leaving the company. In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Sears said Joona resigned Dec, 17 and will leave in February 2015 to pursue a new opportunity.



Joona has been a central figure in developing online programs such as the Shop Your Way digital loyalty program for Sears and Kmart customers. He joined Sears in 2007 and previously held positions at retailers including OfficeMax and the now-defunct Circuit City. No replacement has been named yet.
