Sears bills you with eBillme

RYE BROOK, N.Y. Sears is offering eBillme as a payment option for online shoppers. In addition to Sears.com, eBillme can now also be used on Sears’ subsidiary sites including Kmart.com and Kenmore.com.

“eBillme gives us the ability to let our customers pay with money from their online checking accounts without having to provide their account information as part of the transaction,” says Susan Ehrlich, SVP and president of Sears financial services business unit.

When you select eBillme at checkout, eBillme will email you an eBill and have you pay at your online bank like a utility bill. No financial data is exposed and the payment transaction is securely transferred from the customer’s bank to the retailer’s bank.
