The search for top supply chain exec begins
The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is now accepting nominations for the industry’s most prestigious award.
The CSCMP has issued an open call for nominations for its 2013 Distinguished Service Award to recognize an individual who has made significant contributions to the supply chain and logistics management profession. Last year’s recipient of the honor was Ann M. Drake, chairman and CEO of DSC Logistics.
The 2013 Distinguished Service Award selection committee will evaluate nominees of criteria such as distinguished record of contribution, recognition as a leader, recognition as an innovator and when the individual has enhanced the understanding of the supply chain management profession through both oral and written communications.
The deadline for nominations is April 30 with the award to be presented when CSCMP holds its annual global conference in Denver, October 20-23. For more detail on the program click here.
