Sczesnak to head private label card company

MAHWAH, N.J. Marc Sczesnak, who oversaw gift card programs at both Federated Department Stores (now Macy's Inc.) and Sears, has been named president of Shoppers Charge Accounts, a division of TD Banknorth and manufacturer of privatel label credit cards.

Prior to joining TD Banknorth, Sczesnak served as senior vp of marketing and media services at Federated Department Stores, where he lead efforts to convert over 50 million cardholder accounts to the Macy's brand while also growing the company's gift card business. Previously, he served as vp of credit card products at Sears, where he was responsible for launching the Sears Gold MasterCard - the largest gold card credit program in the country.
