Sam's Club helps bring holiday cheer to needy families
BENTONVILLE, Ark. Sam's Club announced that it has joined Off the Field professional football players' wives association to host the Fourth Annual Dream Drive for The Salvation Army and its Adopt-a-Family program. Through this program, 10 pre-selected families in 10 cities across the country will receive $1,000 worth of food and holiday gifts, including clothes, personal items, electronics and toys from Sam's Club.
"Sam's Club is excited to continue its partnership with The Salvation Army and Off the Field," said Sharon Orlopp, SVP people at Sam's Club. "Now in its fourth year, Dream Drive will help brighten the holiday spirit for families in need by providing them with the food, gifts and other essentials on their wish list to help make this season memorable."
Dream Drive will be held Dec. 16 at Sam's Club locations in select U.S. areas: Baltimore; Chicago; Cincinnati; Dallas; Houston; Miami; Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Francisco/Oakland and Washington, DC. Off the Field participants shopping for this year's Salvation Army families include Roxi McNabb in Washington, D.C., Dottie Palmer in Cincinnati, Denise Clark in Chicago and Kimberly Alexander in Dallas.
