Same-store sales drop at Rite Aid

CAMP HILL ,Pa.(Jul. 29)Rite Aid on Thursday posted a same-store sales decrease of 1.1% for the four weeks ended July 24. July front-end same-stores sales decreased 0.5% while pharmacy same-store sales, which included an approximate 197 basis points negative impact from new generic introductions, declined 1.4%.

Prescriptions filled at comparable stores decreased 1.5% over the prior-year period.
