Same-day delivery looking smarter with IBM
Crowdsourced same-day delivery service provider Deliv has joined IBM’s Ready for Smarter Commerce program in a move that creates new opportunities for other program partners.
As part of the tech giant’s Smarter Commerce ecosystem, IBM’s retail clients will be able to offer Deliv same-day delivery services from their own store networks to provide the most efficient cost option. In addition to Deliv, IBM's Ready for Smarter Commerce program gives clients access to 41 certified pre-built partner solutions with integrated cloud, mobile and social capabilities. The Ready for Smarter Commerce program provides pre-configured solutions based on open standards to accelerate innovation and a performance metric IBM calls, “time to value.”

By joining the Ready for Smarter Commerce partner program, Deliv enables IBM retailers to quickly and easily add same-day delivery as an option for any channel, including online, mobile, call center or in store checkout. By combining the intelligent fulfilment capabilities from IBM Smarter Commerce solutions with the pre-vetted delivery network and route optimization technology from Deliv, the value proposition for retailers is they will be able to optimize delivery efficiency to address the same-day delivery challenge.
