Sally Beauty’s Q3 profit rises 7.3%

Denton, Texas Beauty-product retailer and supplier Sally Beauty Holdings reported a third-quarter profit jump of 7.3%, according to the Dallas Business Journal on Thursday.

The company cited cost controls for its year-over-year performance.

Sally Beauty earned $31.5 million during the third quarter on sales of $673 million, up from a profit of $29.3 million on sales of $676 million during the same quarter last year.

Same-store sales grew 2.6% during the period.
