Sally Beauty names controller

DENTON, Texas Sally Beauty Holdings has named Mark Flaherty as vp, chief accounting officer and controller, reporting to David Rea, senior vp and cfo. He will oversee all areas of accounting and financial reporting for the company.

Most recently, Flaherty held positions at Tandy Brands Accessories including the cfo, treasurer and assistant secretary and served as corporate controller beginning in 1997. He also held management positions in accounting and finance at various companies in the real estate and staffing industries.
