Saks names new treasurer

NEW YORK Saks Thursday announced that Michael Vincent will assume the position of vp and treasurer of the company on Oct. 1. He will report to Kevin Wills, evp and cfo of the company.

Vincent joined Saks in February as assistant treasurer. From 2005 through January 2007, Vincent held the post of corporate treasurer at WHX Corp/Handy & Harman, and from 2000 until 2005, he served as vp, corporate treasurer for the Health Insurance Plan of Greater New York. He began his financial career at Citigroup.
