Ruby Tuesday selects Micros for coupon management

Columbia, Md. Micros Systems, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, announced that Ruby Tuesday has expanded its enterprise solution with Micros iCare for coupon management.

Ruby Tuesday utilizes Micros RES 3700 POS in all of its locations, as well as mymicros.net at the enterprise. Most recently, the restaurant operator had outgrown its homegrown coupon-management solution and needed an application able to keep pace with its marketing group's requirement for rapid deployment of new coupon offers chain wide.

The Micros iCare application delivers the tools to allow Ruby Tuesday to deploy bulk coupon offers, as well as to create individual offers for its So Connected members from one enterprise database. With the ability to validate item-specific coupon rules at the time of redemption, Ruby Tuesday has increased control and detailed reporting, all at the enterprise level. The solution is seamlessly integrated with the point-of-sale to provide Ruby Tuesday with one comprehensive solution that is managed centrally from the enterprise.
