Roosevelt Field enters its final stage of redevelopment

Garden City, N.Y. -- Simon announced that Roosevelt Field, located in Garden City, New York, has entered its final stages of redevelopment, and also released the names of retail brands to occupy the new two-level retail wing. Most of the stores, with some opening early September, will make their Long Island debut. The new wing will lead to the area's first Neiman Marcus store opening in February 2016.



The renovation of Roosevelt Field covered all the common areas including new flooring, sky lights, frameless glass handrails, LED energy efficient lighting and exterior enhancements. The dining district which opened in January features 17 quick service restaurants covering 50,000 sq. ft. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, banquette and communal table furnishings, a 'Green Wall,' family restrooms and 38-ft. vaulted ceilings.



Retail brands opening between September and November of this year in the new wing include: Jo Malone London, the FRYE Company, Furla, kate spade new york, Montblanc, Le Pain Quotidien, Jonathan Adler, JACHS New York and Allen Edmonds.
