Roka Akor Steak, Seafood & Sushi opens at luxury residential development

Houston -- PM Realty Group announced earlier this month that Roka Akor Steak, Seafood & Sushi signed a lease for 6,591 sq. ft. of ground floor space at 2929 Weslayan, the 40-story luxury residential building at the northeast corner of Weslayan and West Alabama in Houston. This will be Roka Akor's first location in Texas, joining its four locations in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago and Skokie, Illinois.



"Roka Akor will be a great complement to the amenities at 2929 Weslayan as we create the perfect feeling of home and luxury living environment," said Wm. Roger Gregory, president of investments for PMRG. "We will continue looking for ways to enhance our residents' experience through retail tenants, property events and amenities."



Developed in 2015 by PMRG, 2929 Weslayan features 11,880 sq. ft. of retail and restaurant space and 254 multi-family units. Property amenities include a 20-ft. high wall fountain in the lobby, rich stone and wood material palette throughout, heavily landscaped, half-acre terrace, resort-inspired pool, state-of-the-art fitness center and aqua lounge.



James Namken, Kyle Knight and Edward Heap with The Weitzman Group represented PMRG in the lease. Mike Wheeler with Streetwise Retail Advisors represented the restaurant.
