The lifestyle retailer named after the famous film festival started by Robert Redford continues to grow its retail footprint and has added a store in the Northwest.
The Bridgeport Village shopping center in the Portland, OR., suburb of Tigard is the location of the newest Sundance store which offers women’s and men’s apparel, footwear, jewelrey, accessories, art, and home décor.
"We are excited to be joining this art-forward community,” said Sundance CEO Matey Erdos. “The Sundance heritage is one of celebrating artistic passion and independent spirit. There is an obvious fit for Sundance, given our mutual appreciation for inspiring creative expression and new discovery."
The newest Sundance store is said to offer a unique experience with its thought design that is artisan inspired to bring the distinctive Sundance lifestyle to the culturally rich area.
“We are confident our loyal supporters will make it a great success,” Erdos said.
Sundance has been expanding more aggressively since August 2015 with openings at Galleria Edina in Edina, MN, NorthPark Center in Dallas, Kierland Commons in Scottsdale, AZ, and Southlake Town Square in Southlake, TX.
Headquartered in Salt Lake City, the brand operates an outlet store, other Sundance stores are located in Corte Madera, CA, and Park Meadows, CO.
Robert Redford created the Sundance Film Festival and subsequently launched the Sundance Catalog in 1989 to promote the works of artists and craftspeople from across the country and around the world.
