Rite Aid October sales down

Camp Hill, Pa. Rite Aid Corp. said Thursday same-store sales fell 0.5% in October, weighed down by lower sales of consumer and non-pharmacy products.

Front-end sales fell 2.7%, while pharmacy sales rose 0.5%.

Rite Aid said its total sales fell 1.7% to $1.96 billion in October.
