Rite Aid Oct. sales up 50.7%
CAMP HILL, Pa. Rite Aid today announced that total drug store sales for October were $2 billion, an increase of 50.7% over $1.32 billion last year. The company reported that same-store sales increased 0.4% over the prior-year period. Pharmacy same-store sales increased 1.3%. Front-end same-store sales decreased 1.4%.
For the year-to-date period, the company reported total drug store sales increased 33.7% to $15 billion from $11.2 billion in last year's like period. The company reported that same-store sales increased 1.4%. Pharmacy same-store sales increased 1.9%. Front-end same-store sales 0.6%.
