Ripley Chile selects Manthan Systems merchandising system

Chicago Business intelligence and analytics solution-provider Manthan Systems said Friday that Ripley Chile has selected its performance management system ARC Merchandise Analytics.

Manthan said Ripley, a large retailer of clothing, accessories and home furnishings in Chile and Peru, will utilize the solution to optimize inventory levels and in-stock positions, improve assortments, review competitive positioning, and better manage in-store operations.

Ripley is also deploying Manthan’s Retail Performance Management Framework.

“With today’s rapidly growing and competitive business environment, it became essential that we provided our associates with the best possible systems to improve productivity and employ better insight into critical decisions," said Ronny Scheller, Ripley Chile director of merchandise planning and logistics.

ARC will replace Ripley’s legacy BI environment, according to the retailer, and will impact store operations, marketing, finance and loss prevention.
