Richard appointed to Mohawk board

COHOES, N.Y. Kevin Richard, coo for Mohawk Fine Papers has been appointed to Mohawk's board of directors, effective Dec. 12, 2007, the company announced Thursday.

Richard, a 26-year paper industry veteran, joined Mohawk in 1995 as manager of engineering and maintenance, is a 26-year veteran of the paper industry. Prior to joining Mohawk, Richard held positions with International Paper for over 13 years.

"Mohawk's board is composed of a diverse mix of highly talented individuals. I am looking forward to working with this powerful group," said Richard.
