Rhodes named chairman of AutoZone

MEMPHIS, Tenn. AutoZone announced this week that its board of directors elected William Rhodes, III as chairman of the board. He will assume the title of chairman, president and ceo, and replace J.R. Hyde, III as chairman. Hyde will remain a member of the board of directors.

"Bill Rhodes has been an integral part of our company's success for many years now, and I, along with the rest of our board, congratulate him on being elected chairman," said Hyde.
