Retailers Make 'Best Companies to Work For' List

Austin, Texas Wegmans Food Markets, Whole Foods Market and Build-A-Bear Workshop are among the retailers that made their way onto FORTUNE magazine’s "100 Best Companies to Work For” list.

The full list and related stories appear in the Feb. 2 issue of FORTUNE.

Wegmans announced on Thursday that the company has been ranked No. 5 on this year’s list. The company has appeared on FORTUNE’s list for 12 consecutive years. It has been ranked among the top 10 for seven years running. It has hit the top five for five years in a row.

Whole Foods Market, which was named No. 22, has also made the list consecutively for 12 years. It is one of only 13 companies to be named every year since the list's inception.

Additionally, Whole Foods Market was ranked No. 1 for job growth since it added 8,570 new employees in the last year.

Meanwhile, Build-A-Bear came in at No. 94 on the list.
