Report: Wal-Mart not selling off Sam's Club

BENTONVILLE, Ark. According to report by Bloomberg, Wal-Mart Stores, which once considered selling off its Sam's Club division, has decided against it.

In an interview, Douglas McMillon, ceo of Sam's Club, reportedly said that after some consideration, it was determined that Sam's Club is best suited as a part of Wal-Mart. He added that by remaining part of Wal-Mart Sam's Club benefits from access to the company's vendors, logistics and customer information.
