Report: Wal-Mart to cut home office jobs
NEW YORK Wal-Mart Stores will eliminate 700 to 800 jobs at its Wal-Mart and Sam's Club home offices, according to AP and Reuters reports.
Wal-Mart employs about 14,000 people at its home office in Arkansas. The reductions would affect those in merchandising, real estate and marketing at the Wal-Mart U.S. division and merchandising positions at the company's Sam's Club division.
