Report: Target Expands Go Line
New York Target Corp. has added a private-label line to its Go International group of independent designers for women, according to a Dow Jones report.
Go International is a program in which, on a revolving schedule, Target displays the apparel of an on-the-rise fashion designer, rotating in another designer’s work after approximately 45 days.
Now, instead of having the program go from designer to designer, there will be a 30-day interval when the Go International in-house line is shown, the report said.
The private-label line is created by a design company that Target is already working with, the report said. An in-house team then oversees and reviews the Go line, the report said.
Private-label Go International debuted last week, and demand has already exceeded expectations, said Target spokesman Joshua Thomas.
Prices for the line range between $16.99 and $49.99 and include dresses, shirts, blazers, trousers and swimwear.
