Report: Starbucks Tests Self-Serve on Drip Coffee
Seattle Starbucks is allowing customers to pour their own coffee at some locations, according to the Seattle Times.
Customers can pay before or after getting their self-served coffee, the report said.
According to CEO Howard Schultz, Starbucks is testing several new ideas. Last month, the company announced its plans for a new loyalty-card program and use of a new premium-drip coffee machine called the Clover.
Starbucks also plans to grind beans in its stores.
