Report: Outlook of CEOs improving

New York City An index measuring the opinions of more than 100 chief executives shows considerably more optimism about recovery now than it did in June, Crain's New York Business reported. Expectations for capital spending and hiring in the United States are modestly better than they were earlier this year, but remain weak.
