Report: JCPenney names bedding vp

PLANO, Texas According to reports, JCPenney has appointed Stephen Dinkins to the position of divisional vp and divisional merchandise manager for furniture and bedding. He will report to Jeff Allison, evp and general merchandise manager.

Prior to accepting this role, Dinkins was senior bedding buyer at JCPenney. He succeeds Bob Price, who left the company in May after 32 years and is now a vp at Art Van Furniture.
