Report: Coo named to head Wal-Mart China growth

SHENZHEN, China Wal-Mart has reportedly tapped Rob Cissell to oversee the company's growth in China. Cissell was most recently serving as chief executive of Robert Dyas, a hardware chain.

Reports indicate that Cissell will serve as coo and head merchandising, marketing and retail operations for Wal-Mart China. He will report to Ed Chan, president of Wal-Mart China.

Cissell began his career at Robert Dyas in 2005. Prior to hat he spent 11 years at Kingfisher. He also held positions at Woolworths and Argos.
