Report: Belk Completes Parisian Rebranding

Belk Inc. has rebranded 25 former Parisian department stores with the Belk name, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

Most of the former Parisian locations have undergone interior renovations since Belk completed its $285 million buyout of the department-store chain from Saks Inc. last October.

Belk bought 38 Parisian stores throughout the Southeast and Midwest, Saks' 125,000-sq.-ft. headquarters and distribution center in Birmingham, Ala., and a 180,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in Steele, Ala.

Belk has since sold some of the Parisian stores.
