Rent-A-Center improves customer lease processing


Rent-A-Center customers can now attain merchandise even faster.

The rent-to-own retailer added Provenir Cloud, from risk analytics and decisioning solutions provider, Proviner, to support the processing of customer applications for lease purchase agreements across its Acceptance Now division. AcceptanceNow partners with a variety of furniture, appliance and other retailers, increasing shoppers’ accessibility to high quality brands.

The cloud-based solution will act as an orchestrating hub that connects internal and external data with various rules and risk models. “Rich functionality across the solution’s risk analytics, and the decisioning platform’s scalability will provide significant value to Rent-A-Center’s growth plans and transformation,” said Mark Denman, executive VP of AcceptanceNow at Rent-A-Center. “By implementing Provenir Cloud to process customer lease applications, we will increase speed, improve delivery and provide our customers better, faster access to our products and services.”

Rent-A-Center owns and operates approximately 2,600 stores in the United States, Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico, and approximately 1,915 Acceptance Now locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
