RedPrairie releases technology suite for improving sales, customer loyalty

6/27/2012

ATLANTA — RedPrairie, a global supply chain and retail technology provider, has released its RedPrairie Commerce Suite 2012.1, a scalable suite of solutions that help retailers generate sales and customer loyalty by creating seamless and dynamic all-channel shopping experiences, with a 360-degree view of orders, merchandise and customer behavior, and integration with RedPrairie fulfillment solutions, the company said.

The RedPrairie Commerce Suite includes such functions as more streamlined management of out-of-stock items, customer engagement management through tracking of customer activity, improved order sourcing and direct-to-consumer fulfillment.

“For retailers, the key to increasing top-line revenue and reducing bottom-line costs lies in meeting consumers wherever they wish to shop and offering options for fulfillment,” said Gene Weaver, director of product strategy, Commerce and Clienteling atRedPrairie. “But achieving Buy Anywhere Fulfill Anywhere does not require ‘heart surgery.’ Rather, RedPrairie Commerce Suite’s modular approach provides retailers with a step-by-step roadmap for quickly meeting consumers’ expectations. Empowering retail store associates to place orders online and either fulfill from the store or direct to the consumer is a potent sales and loyalty driver. This solution is what the industry has been asking for.”

Additional upgrades to the RedPrairie Commerce Suite include a more robust, merchant-centric user interface, improved analytics capabilities, and tools to streamline commerce site maintenance and implementation.

RedPrairie Commerce Suite is available in a hosted model called RedPrairie Commerce Cloud providing retailers the flexibility to purchase either an on-premise or cloud-based version of the application.
