Red Wing Shoe Co. partners with Buxton to analyze market expansion strategy

Fort Worth, Texas Red Wing Shoe Co. has formed a relationship with Buxton, a customer analytics firm, to assist with the company’s market expansion and analytics strategy.

“Aligning with Buxton provides Red Wing Shoe Co. the ability to understand who our customers are, where large concentrations of our customers live and where we might expand in the future,” said Jim Anderson, VP global business planning for Red Wing Shoe Co. “We now have access to household level segmentation which gives us the tools to refine our growth and business strategies.”

As part of this alliance, Red Wing Shoe Co. joins a growing list of organizations using Scout, a Web-based site selection and management application developed by Buxton. The application can be used as a pre-screening tool for real estate location decisions and a comprehensive site management system.
