ATLANTA — Red Book Connect, a global cloud software company serving the restaurant and broader retail industries, has named Anthony Lye as the company’s chief product officer.
Lye will be responsible for leading product development and cloud operations for all products, which include hiring, training, scheduling, business intelligence, shift communication, loyalty programs, labor and inventory management software and tools. He will be based in the San Francisco office.
Lye was previously global president of digital platforms, customer relationship management and channels at Publicis Groupe, the world’s largest digital agency. Prior to Publicis, he was SVP and general manager of CRM and customer experience at Oracle Corporation. He has also held senior leadership positions at Siebel Systems, ePeople and Remedy Corporation.
“Anthony’s addition to our management team brings 25 years of development experience spanning innovative Silicon Valley startups to globally recognized software companies. He is one of the few leaders in technology that has developed comprehensive cloud products and led them to commercial success,” said Larry Abramson, CEO of Red Book Connect. “Anthony is the ideal person to lead the evolution of our cloud products and guide our technical teams. He understands customer expectations for cloud software and the technical requirements to deliver it. He joins an impressive management team that is dedicated to designing innovative cloud offerings that are easy to use, simple to purchase, and create immediate value for our customers.”
“The convergence of cloud, mobile and social has created a massive market opportunity, allowing all restaurants, regardless of size, to access the same technology that just a short time ago was only available to enterprise brands with large IT organizations,” said Lye. “This is truly a unique moment in the industry, and I am excited to be a part of Red Book Connect as it develops and delivers best in class, integrated solutions that change the economics and experiences of business owners and hourly employees.”
Lye earned a bachelor of engineering degree with honors from the University of Bath.
