Recurring revenue management co. Aria taps VP of products
Aria Systems, a leading innovator in recurring revenue management, has appointed Adeeb Shanaa to VP of products as part of the company's global expansion initiative. Shanaa will report directly to Aria Systems CEO Tom Dibble.
Shanaa has led product innovation in enterprise software for more than two decades, with extensive experience in cloud computing, business intelligence, mobile applications and speech recognition. He also directed the development, launch and commercialization of multiple widely-adopted SaaS offerings, which today handle hundreds of millions of mission-critical customer transactions on an annual basis for Global 2000 companies.
For the past 15 years Shanaa has focused on SaaS offerings. Most recently, he served as EVP at LogicBlox, a cloud-based smart database for predictive analytics, and prior to that served as SVP of products and head of operations at C3 Energy, a smart grid analytics SaaS solutions provider. Earlier in his career, Shanaa was co-founder and CEO of Voxify, the cloud-based speech recognition PaaS provider for enterprise contact centers, and prior to that was an early employee at MicroStrategy, a leading business intelligence, mobile software and cloud-based services provider.
The company recently expanded into the Netherlands and Germany, led by Timo Brueggeman, regional sales director DACH (Deutschland, Austria and Switzerland) and Robert Loenen, regional sales director, Netherlands. Aria also has expanded its corporate executive team with the appointment of John Pora, VP of professional services.
"Adeeb has the ideal mix of technology innovation and enterprise software experience to help bring Aria to the next level of growth," said Dibble. "Aria is seeing a massive increase in demand for our technology from global enterprises and our newest team members, including Adeeb, will further Aria's position as the product and innovation leader in recurring revenue management."
"Aria has already established itself as the best enterprise-class, cloud-based recurring revenue management platform," said Shanaa. "I'm looking forward to leading Aria's continued innovation, further cementing Aria as the preferred recurring revenue management solution for large enterprises."
Shanaa has degrees in mathematics with computer science and mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and was a recipient of the Hertz Fellowship for Graduate Studies.
