Ream's founder passes on at 92

SALT LAKE CITY Paul Ream, founder of the Utah-based grocery chain Ream's Food Stores, has passed away at the age of 92, according to reports.

Ream opened his first store in Provo in 1949 and built his business using the "cost-plus concept." His company operates nine other stores in Salt Lake, Wasatch and Davis counties.
