Ready Pac Foods has hired Peter Laport as the company’s SVP, chief supply chain officer.

"Peter has worldwide experience in supply chain and manufacturing that will aid tremendously in cultivating profitable business processes within operations. Prior to Ready Pac, Laport was with Dunkin Brands, also known as Dunkin Donuts & Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream, for more than five years as their global VP of supply chain and manufacturing. Prior to Dunkin, he worked for Nestlé for 15 years, holding multiple supply chain leadership roles at locations throughout the United States, and PepsiCo Company for five years.
Peter completed his industrial engineering degree from Purdue University in 1989, and is in process of finishing his executive MBA at Johns Hopkins University, Carey School of Business. He will report to the corporate offices in Irwindale, Calif.
Ready Pac is a producer of convenience fresh foods, including fresh-cut produce. With processing facilities throughout the United States, Ready Pac's salads, snacks, fresh-cut fruit and vegetables are distributed in supermarkets and restaurant chains across North America.
