Readers Respond to Wal-Mart Memo
New York City, Almost half (47%) of the respondents to Chainstoreage.com’s poll last week believe that the most enlightened idea from Wal-Mart Stores’ benefits strategy memo that was made public recently is to move all employees to consumer-driven health plans and offer Health Savings Accounts. Adding health clinics to stores in order to defray the cost of emergency room visits received 33% of the votes.
