QVC reshuffles executive leadership
WEST CHESTER, Pa. — QVC is eyeing an increase in growth opportunities following the recent promotions of two key executives.
The company has promoted Alex Miller to the position of SVP of digital commerce and Dave Caputo to the position of SVP of TV production and operations. .
Miller, who will continue to report to Mary Campbell, SVP of multichannel platforms, will now be responsible for the customer experience across QVC's web, mobile, tablet and social platforms.

Miller will be responsible for accountability for e-commerce sales, digital experience and operations, and QVC's social shopping business.
Since joining QVC in 2001, Miller has held positions of increasing responsibility within QVC's Internet sales, off-air and on-air programming and e-marketing groups. He has led numerous multichannel initiatives to create a more engaging shopping experience for the QVC customer as well as the development and implementation of a new e-commerce platform. He also played a key role in the integration of recent QVC acquisitions, and is leading the launch of QVC's new social media platform, toGather.
Caputo will oversee QVC's television production needs and, like Miller, will continue reporting to Campbell.

Caputo will oversee QVC's television production, technical broadcast and studio management and support services, leading the development and execution of the function's overall business plans, policies, practices and relationships with vendors.
Caputo has been with QVC for more than 20 years, holding various management positions within the company’s broadcasting operations function. He most recently served as VP of TV production and operations. Caputo's is credited with being instrumental in launching a multichannel master control and network operations center, in addition to implementing a social ticker graphic package to provide a more impactful shopping experience for QVC customers.
Both Miller and Caputo will remain based at QVC's global headquarters in West Chester, Pa.
