In Q&A, Target chief merchant talks holiday

Mark Tritton, chief merchandising officer of Target, discusses the chain’s holiday strategy of emphasizing low prices as well as highlighting private-brand clothes and splurges for the season in an interview with the Associated Press.



“I think the assortment is really spectacular. I really love what we've done for our marketing campaign. I feel good about our in-stock position,” said Tritton, who joined Target in June, coming from Nordstrom.
