Publix Hurricane Efforts Continue

Lakeland, Fla., As of Saturday, 227 Publix locations in Florida, from Key West to Vero Beach, are currently, open and Publix employees are working to replenish products, the company said.

“Many stores in South Florida are operating on generator power; however, they are stocked with non-perishable items. Publix trucks are arriving with perishable items to those store locations with full power,” said Maria Brous, director of media and community relations. “Our Publix Pharmacies are also open for customers’ prescription needs.”
