Birkdale Village combines the best of shopping, dining, residential and entertainment venues within a 52-acre mixed-use destination. Shops with colorful windows line the Main Street, and unique residential dwellings are nestled above. A linear park showcases bubbling fountains, providing cheerful gardens for shoppers to enjoy. The overall architecture is reminiscent of Nantucket, R.I., with cedar shakes, an abundance of bright white wood accents and carefully crafted signage. The shopping center benefits from strong surrounding demographics. Within a five-mile radius, there are more than 74,000 people with an average household income of $103,792. Located 15 miles north of downtown Charlotte, N.C., with convenient access from Interstate 77, Birkdale Village is centrally positioned in the most affluent corridor of North Charlotte in proximity to Lake Norman. Birkdale Village is the premier upscale shopping, dining and entertainment destination in North Charlotte.

This spectacular 675,000-sq.-ft., mixed-use project is currently under construction and is 95% leased. New and unique anchors will offer a compelling mix of fashion, food, and fun—right in the heart of a dense primary trade area consisting of more than 300,000 people with an average household income of more than $100,000.

Legacy Place will be Boston’s first lifestyle center within Route 128. All major area roads converge at the site offering unparalleled access. Located at the intersection of Interstate 95 and Route 1, the center will also be home to National Amusements’ new world headquarters.
