Private Equity Firms Invests in Wilsons

Minneapolis, Golder Hawn Private Equity, Minneapolis, is investing $35 million in Wilsons Leather. Two other private equity firms, Peninsula Investment Partners and Quaker Capital Management Corp., also will make investments, for a total of approximately $10 million.

The funding from the deal will be used for general working capital and to pay fees related to the transaction.
