PriceSmart Q2 profit climbs on improved sales
San Diego PriceSmart said that its profit rose 34% in the fiscal second quarter on improved sales.
The warehouse-club operator earned $12.7 million, compared with $9.5 million a year ago.
Sales increased 14% to $334.8 million, from $293.8 million for the period. Meanwhile, same-store warehouse sales climbed 8.5%.
