PriceSmart March Same-Store Sales Rise

San Diego PriceSmart on Monday said same-store sales rose 14.1% in March.

For the four weeks ended March 30, total sales rose 21.3% to $94.1 million from $77.6 million last year.

PriceSmart also said it signed a new lease in Medley, Fla., to relocate its primary distribution center to a larger facility. The new distribution center will open in June.

PriceSmart operates warehouse clubs in Central America and the Caribbean.
