Off-pricer rolls out new format


Tuesday Morning is showing off its updated prototype at two locations.

The chain’s expanded store at Preston Shopping Center, Dallas, and new store at Parker Central Shopping Center, in Plano, feature new fixtures, flooring, improved lighting and a redesigned store layout that makes it easier for customers to shop. The format also includes an expanded assortment of goods.

Since January 1, 2016, Tuesday Morning has opened eight new locations and relocated or expanded an additional 34 stores. The company plans to complete work on more than 35 additional locations by year-end as part of efforts to provide an improved in-store experience.

"As we evolve our store experience, we are putting the focus on our product and the great values we deliver to customers every day in an easy-to-shop and inviting atmosphere,” said Steve Becker, CEO, Tuesday Morning, which operates nearly 750 stores across the United States. "Our new store in Plano and expanded presence in Dallas' Preston Center are representative of this initiative. We are very pleased with the customer response to these stores and excited to showcase the 'new' Tuesday Morning in our hometown market."
