Pollo Campero Opens Franchise in U.S. Wal-Mart Store

Little Rock, Ark. Pollo Campero, a Guatemalan restaurant chain, has teamed up with Wal-Mart Stores to expand its reach to the nation's growing Hispanic population. The restaurant has opened its first location inside a Wal-Mart Supercenter, in Rowlett, Texas.

Officials at Pollo Campero’s U.S. arm, Campero USA Corp., said they hope to expand its reach into more than 20 Wal-Mart locations across the country by the end of 2009.
