Pizza Hut installs Entouch energy management systems
Plano, Texas – Pizza Hut Inc. is deploying energy management systems from Entouch Controls at 500 corporate stores. The company plans to recommend the Entouch technology to its 5,800 franchised stores, as well.
So far, the Entouch systems have been implemented on a trial basis in about 12 corporate stores in different climates, with Pizza Hut reporting a quick ROI and sustainability benefits. The system includes a thermostat that communicates with the cloud through its own wireless network. The analytics are monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week by Entouch employees who look for irregularities or maintenance issues before they become a problem.
Entouch is currently also working with three Pizza Hut franchise groups to implement the energy management system. One is located in California, one in Kansas and one in the Northeast.
